PSNY x Nicole McLaughlin 2020
Designed in collaboration with Public School New York, a fashion clothing brand based in (Brooklyn/Bronx, Queens, Manhattan) for their upcoming launch with artist Nicole McLaughlin.
"For Earth Day we're leading a workshop in upcycling old clothes and fabrics and developing a range of styles that will be printed on 100% recycled fabrics."
The design was meant to emulate retro Smokey the Bear advertisements. My client wanted a soft watercolor look as well for a very story book feel.
PSNY WNL x New Balance
NYC Marathon Project
Designed for Public School New York’s shoe collaboration with New Balance.
My client wanted a loose and sketchy look. The runners and Statue of Liberty were meant to pop against a grey NYC skyline. The design brief also called to add back the Twin Towers in memoriam.
This design was meant to be worn at the 2020 NYC Marathon. However, the project was canceled do to the pandemic.
Old Man Run Club
OMRC requested a special commemorative design for their club members running in ‘The Speed Project’, an ultramarathon race from LA to Las Vegas through the desert. The design was to feature their winged tiger mascot and key natural features of the race.
